Senate Panel Approves $400b 'Defense' Bill

"The Senate Armed Services Committee approved a $400.5 billion bill for the Pentagon that clears the way for possible research on low-yield nuclear weapons, backs its missile defense program and supports a swifter, more mobile fighting force, lawmakers said on Friday."
